Wireless hearing devices and large print prayer books are available for services. The ushers can direct you if you need help locating anything. The Sylvan Handley Memorial Fund was established by his family in his honor. Contributions to that fund are intended for major repairs and improvements to the church property. In addition, or as an alternative to altar flowers, it is appropriate to remember or honor loved ones by contributing to that fund. It is also an appropriate alternative for funeral flowers at the death of a loved one.

Summer Reading for Trinity Church As Trinity prepares for the transition with a new rector, you are invited to read Presiding Bishop Michael Curry's book - The Power of Love: Sermons, Reflections, and Wisdom to Uplift & Inspire. If you've borrowed a copy of the book be sure to return it to the table in the narthex as soon as you are done so we can share.

In September, conversations will be scheduled for us to discuss how this book guides us to follow our Diocesan Bishop Gutierrez's charge to us to "Know Jesus. Change the World."

Questions? Ask Mary (mary@trinityambler.com) Copies are available to borrow and share. Also available at Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0525542892/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Fair Districts PA On Thursday, August 29th, Rich Rafferty of Fair Districts PA will discuss why citizens of Pennsylvania should be concerned about the drawing of PA voting districts (‘redistricting’) which will follow the 2020 census. Many citizens believe that the process that will be used to create districts and the districts themselves will be unfair. Fair Districts PA is a nonprofit organization created to promote a fair, transparent, and impartial process for drawing new voting districts. The meeting will take place at 7 PM in the Parish Hall. For more information, contact Ward Hickman (267-625-9555; ward301rc@gmail.com).

Hospitality Sign-up for September and October is now hanging in the narthex. Please consider filling a slot: it's easy, just provide some goodies and organize the table with the necessary supplies. No experience or ongoing commitment required.

Trinity is Partnering with Upper Dublin MS H.O.S.T. (Helping Our Students Together) Program. Through monetary, food and resource donations, the H.O.S.T will provide food packs filled with non-perishable breakfast, lunch, snack and beverage items to school children, and their siblings who face food insecurity. Non-perishable food items will be collected in narthex closer to September. See list on narthex board. If you have any questions regarding this program or how you can help, please contact Pam Olshefski (pamela.olshefski@gmail.com or 215-628-4364).
