Wireless hearing devices and large print prayer books are available for services. The ushers can direct you if you need help locating anything. The Sylvan Handley Memorial Fund was established by his family in his honor. Contributions to that fund are intended for major repairs and improvements to the church property. In addition, or as an alternative to altar flowers, it is appropriate to remember or honor loved ones by contributing to that fund. It is also an appropriate alternative for funeral flowers at the death of a loved one.

Announcements & Coming Events

Operation Christmas Child Since 1993 more than 135 million boys and girls in over 100 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items and distributed by Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. This is a missions opportunity for each of us. Once again, the Daughters of the King will coordinate the distribution and collection of the shoeboxes. Distribution will be on Sunday, October 29 through Sunday, November 12 after the 10 a.m. service. National Collection Week is November 13-20. We will collect and bless all shoeboxes on Sunday, November 19. If you drop off your shoebox beforehand, please place it on the hat shelf in the narthex. Check out the display in the narthex for more information. You may see Lynda Basham or Pam Hawthorne if you have any questions.
