Announcements & Coming Events
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Since 1993, 25 years ago, more than 157 million shoeboxes have been sent to over 114 countries and territories for the sole purpose of showing God’s love through shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Once again, the Daughters of the King will coordinate the distribution and collection of the shoeboxes. Distribution will be on Sunday, November 4 thru Sunday, November 11 after the 10 a.m. service. We will collect and bless all shoeboxes on Sunday, November 18. If you drop off your shoebox beforehand, please place it on the hat shelf in the narthex. Check out the display in the narthex for more information. Please read the pamphlet for items you should not include. You may see Lynda Basham or Pam Hawthorne if you have any questions.
ECS Christmas Gifts Every year program participants at Episcopal Community Services receive a gift through your generosity at Christmas. The special feature of the drive is that we actually ask the participants what they would like for Christmas. The list of wishes includes toys, games, clothing, gift cards, and more. There will be a Christmas Tree containing ornaments with children's names and their Christmas wishes in the Narthex starting on November 4th. If you would like to participate, take the ornament off of the tree and write your name on the sign out sheet by your child's name. All non-wrapped donations must be back to Trinity by December 9th. Please attach the original ornament with the child's name to your gift. Gifts will be placed on the altar on December 9th for a blessing prior to being delivered. Thank you for your holiday generosity - Mission and Outreach.
