The Choral Scholars Program
The Choral Scholars at Trinity are professional singers who support and enhance the Music Ministry. These musicians are an important part of the community and are responsible for everything including solos, leading sectional rehearsals, singing small-ensemble chamber works, and more. Professional singers who are interested in learning more about the Choral Scholar Program are invited to apply for open or substitute positions as they arise. Brian Rickard, Bass Choral Scholar Brian Rickard is a resident of Maple Glen where he lives with his wife Jill and their daughter Jordan, age 13, and son Sean, age 12. He began his studies of voice and piano at age 30 and soon after was invited to join Delaware Valley Opera, Wissahickon Woods Opera and Bel Canto Lyric Opera in their performances. Further vocal and ear training study then began with Richard Johnson and his performance opportunities expanded to the Vox Amadeus Ensemble as well as various churches and synagogues where he served as section leader and soloist. He has become recognized for his dependable musical preparation as well as his ready sense of humor.
